Even without the blistering 100+ temperatures outside,  I realize it’s August here in the Deep South… so you can imagine my surprise when I happened upon an unopened, unmelted Hershey bunny here at work.  Sure it’s Easter candy… sure it’s about 4 mos past its prime, but I don’t care!  It was DELISH!  And now I am happy.

And believe me, I needed some HAPPY in my life right about now.  Especially after Facebook (FB) decided to delete my Leslie Ann Dennis acct after one of my 3500 so-called “friends” reported me for “harassing” them.  Yep.  Me.  Harassing.  (WTH?)  So for those interested, here’s what happened:  I had 3500 “friends” — mainly I was networking, trying to get ppl to buy my book, etc…
Anyhoo… right after my fan page went live (oh, I loved my fan page too! My DH made it look soooo pretty!)  I sent a note to everyone (yes, 3500 ppl) telling them about the 50% off coupon I had available until the end of July from Smashwords.

That was it.

Yet one of those “friends” I sent that note to felt I was “harassing” them and complained to FB.  And FB in all its glory and wisdom, simply takes that person’s side of the story and I’m presented as this awful person and FB shuts me down.

Now… I’ve had my acct with FB since Oct 2004… and FB has only been around since Feb 04.  So obviously loyalty means doodly.  They sent me a note telling me I couldn’t appeal their decision and it was final and I can’t have another facebook acct ever.

I have been officially banned from FB.

So there’s the story.  I’m a rebel, baby.  A REBEL I tell ya!!
