Chicka BOOM!
YESSSSSSSS! I'm thrilled to inform all of my faithful readers (one, two... and you over there) that the mole biopsy came back NORMAL!!!! Oh yesyesyesyes! *Happy Snoopy Dance* So basically, I was going to come home and write, right? RIGHT! Wrong! I went shopping with Mom and I just got home. I have to go to work in about an hour, so why should I get into writing when I'd just have to stop in teh midst of a good part (read: another reason to procrastinate). But anyhoo, I stayed up SUPER late re-reading my fave-o-rite book by RIchard Matheson (the man is a GOD) What Dreams May Come and I just LOVE it .. couldn't put it down. And dadgummit, I'm going to stop loaning my copies out... I've gone thru 3! I'm reading the library's copy now. Gonna hafta hit Ebay up for a couple more copies... aye yie yie. I sooooo hated the movie, but the book.. God, the book is fantastico (see... it makes me speak in tongue it's so magnifique!).
Perhaps I'll write more tonite.. perhaps not. Perhaps I'll quit saying perhaps... hmmm.. perhaps.

Hey Leslie! Thanks for the bananas comment in my blog. I love, love, love comments! I've been feeling the urge to reread What Dreams May Come too. It's been awhile, and (shamefully) I've forgotten much of it--though that's probably due in part to the snippets of the movie that keep popping up like some evil weasel on the cable channels. That movie was...just...*shaking my head*...crap. I've gotta say that I really like Matheson's Somewhere In Time--AND I like the movie as well. There were a few differences there, but nothing that really offended me. Also, curious little tidbit--the holier than holy Chris Carter, man behind the X-Files, admires Matheson so much that he named a recurring character in the series after him: Senator Richard Matheson. Chris Carter knows genius when he sees it!
Oh, and P.S. What sort of stuff do you write? I feel your pain where the writer's block is concerned, though this little fanfiction challenge I got myself into is actually helping quite a bit. Truth be told, I think it's shaming me into writing--I can't turn in an awful story, right? :)
