Sunday pay is great - much as I hate going in on a post-holiday weekend, the perks for the werks is primo. Anyhoo, had a BUNCH of meanies come in today (I think it's midterm, end of term, whatever) but roughly a kajillion and twelve people came in to use computers today. One lady was SO HATEFUL I thought I was gonna pull an Eminem and just LOSE IT! But then when she was getting all crabby and mean and smarmy, a bug flew out of her hair! And I watched it fly onto my monitor and we both looked at it and I was like, "uh...." and she was like "eeep!" and I was like "That bug just flew outta your hair." and she was like "Nuh-uh." and I was like, "Yeah-huh" and then she stormed out and I was like, "Hey little buddy," to the bug because it was just a cute little ladybug. SO that's my story for today. Well, that and the trip to Luby's (the cafeteria chain) we went to after work today. I walked in and I smiled to the lady behind the counter and said in my best wide-eyed-innocent voice "Oh, I DO so hope you have some Turkey and Dressing!" and she was like "Oh no you di'nt." and I was like "Oh yeah I dee-yud." but then Anna Nicole Smith stumbled up behind us and started swaying and slurring, "Do you like my body.... *hic*" [j/k but sheesh.... what the heck is IN that Trimspa??] Anyway, I quickly lost interest in my post-Turkey Day joke and ordered the roast beef. :)

I cut the crap out of my thumb (and here I bet you didn't realize thumbs did indeed have crap in them, right?) well it HURTS! Bran got one of those As-Seen-On-TV knives that stay sharp and can cut a car in half and still slice a tomato wafer-thin (you know the kind I'm talking about -- the knife that usually comes in the Ronco SET IT AND FORGET IT package deal.) So I was slicing a piece of ham and mistook the fat little fleshy part of my thumb for pork product. *oink*

That's it. Exciting day, yes?....the bed....is...calling...me....(I think it secretly wants my body -- honest!)
