Things that make you go HMMMMM
My husband and I were having a normal conversation after leaving Wal-Mart on Sunday and then my husband used the phrase: Face to Face… and I completely blanked out on the rest of the convo as he rambled on. I was thinking to myself, how odd that we’ve attached so many phrases to that part of our body. The ones that flew to mind were, of course his “face to face” …. then there’s head to head, cheek to cheek, nose to nose, mouth to mouth, eye to eye.
Interesting, yes? And then we go further…
Hand to hand, chest to chest, shoulder to shoulder, elbow to elbow, back to back, toe to toe…
Am I forgetting any? Do you ever wonder about these kinds of things? Or am I just whackadoodle? These things keep me up at night.
Heel to toe. Neck and neck. (Hah, I am from Louisville, Kentucky!)
Well heel toe I get, but I was mainly going for the same body part to the same body part. I will definitely give you neck and neck. I’d forgotten that one! Thanks!
